TRÈS CHIC

I t has been quite a while since I last posted here. Don't get me wrong, I have lots of content to share with you, plenty I would say. I just can't seem to find the inspiration to write. Is it because of the summer heat? Or the fact that I'm swamped with work lately or just that I'm afraid my posts would be boring? I can't really say. For some unknown reason, the place that we visited last weekend is always giving me a boost of inspiration. Situated northeast of Istanbul, the cutest little town of Şile reminds me of the small towns in the French Riviera. You can find picturesque locations, fish restaurants, cobbled streets and tiny boutiques all in one place.

Now let's talk about what I'm wearing. I think I have seen too many old movies lately that I started loving all the classic prints like polka dots, gingham, and Breton stripes, and my closet is full of straw and wicker bags. You can't blame a girl for trying to feel glamorous, right? From the moment I saw the open back dress, I instantly fell in love with it. It's from the local brand Koton and when I found it in store only one size was left. Normally I look ridiculous in a large size but this dress is an exception. I paired it with my most comfortable heels ever, they are dupes of the FENDI ones that I have been obsessing over for a long time.

You wonder what I have in my basket bag? Everything that I usually put in my handbag plus sparkling water and sweets. Watching the sunset at this lovely place is just like a scene from a movie, isn't it?
